Brown glove made of Finnish elk leather with a long cuff

  • very soft, comfortable to wear & water-repellent leather
  • The long cuff fits perfectly over any jacket sleeve
  • According to test report No. MP-NR 1878/06 dated February 2, 2006 from the Leather Institute of the Reutlingen Tanning School, all Sauso gloves made of elk and deer leather are free of harmful substances and comply with EU guidelines.

The company was founded in Finland in 1929 and is now run under the leadership of Sakari Sauso, the grandson of the company founder. His gloves are all made by hand, machines are only used as an aid. Since the leather is very thin, elastic and soft, it must be treated carefully to ensure a good fit.

Sauso gloves have become known for their high quality and design. www.sakarisauso.com

    WHICH GLOVE IS RIGHT?

    Different hands
Every hand is different: There are standard-shaped hands as well as two other hand types:
a fine hand with long fingers and a broad hand with short fingers.

Fine hand with long fingers: Choose a glove half a size larger than your actual size (leather glove with more volume). This will keep the shape better and the fingerlings won't be too short.
Example: If your glove size is 7, choose size 7½ gloves.
    Try them on carefully.

Wide hand with short fingers: Choose a pair of gloves made of very soft leather half a size smaller than your actual size. Such gloves are very elastic when worn for the first time and the finger cots become shorter accordingly.
Example: If your glove size is 9, choose gloves made of very soft leather in size 8½. Try them on carefully.

    The right size
Put on a glove. Stretch the side seam a little with the thumb and forefinger of your free hand. The glove is the right size if the side seam is smooth and has approx. 2-4 mm of play.
